Who we are
Paxly is a B2B SaaS platform from Leipzig. We help companies buy packaging smarter. Real customers, real revenue, real problems to solve.
Three founders run this company. Torsten brings deep packaging industry expertise. Klaus and Hendrik are seasoned entrepreneurs who’ve built and scaled companies before. We know what we’re doing – and we’re building a team that can grow with us.
The role
You’ll work alongside our CTO and senior developer on our core platform – a Java/Angular application used by actual businesses. You’ll start with smaller tasks but grow fast. Within months, you’ll own features end-to-end.

The tech
- Back-end: Java 17, Dropwizard, PostgreSQL
- Front-end: Angular 16+
- Infrastructure: AWS (EC2, ECS, RDS, S3), Docker, Redis
- Side quest: Python/FastAPI
You don’t need to know all of this. You need to be able to learn it.
What we’re looking for
- Strong CS fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, how things actually work)
- Experience with Java or Angular (university, personal projects, internships – all count)
- You’ve built something – show us
- You’re curious and self-driven
- Bilingual: English (professional), German (B2+)
Strong plus
- You use AI coding tools smartly – but you understand what the code actually does
- Interest in modern AI approaches (LLMs, prompt engineering, AI-assisted development)
