Challanges & initial situation

The initial situation at Sportscheck is characterized by highly manual processes in inventory management for packaging. Manual tenders in purchasing are time-consuming. In addition, packaging purchasing is carried out both by logistics service providers and internally, which leads to many interfaces and thus impairs transparency and increases sources of error. The lack of a benchmark for the market conditions of the individual product types makes optimal cost control and efficiency difficult. Improvements are urgently needed to optimize packaging management and increase efficiency.
